Very welcoming on an overcast day but food was delicious. Warm toppings in brown baguettes with salad plus a cup of homemade soup and a cafetière of delicious coffee. Very nice. Not the quickest of service but it was lunchtime, they were very busy and we weren’t in a hurry so happy to chat over our coffee. Delicious deli to purchase some take home bits and pieces. Dog friendly both outside and in. Excellent

Yummy deli items like pastys and olives. Large cafe menu with sandwiches and hot meals, loads of choice. Tables at front and further back in an Alpine setting. Baguettes were fresh and not hard like they sometimes can be. Mushroom soup was very flavourful, really enjoyed. Our party also had broccoli Stilton soup which they loved. Service very nice. Appreciated the automatically provided hot water to top up the teapot.- Service

Quiet, cosy and friendly. This deli is first class, most of all it's dog friendly which gets extra points!
Malton is known for its food, however this deli has not succumbed to the commercialisation or mass marketing. It serves well made food which is very good value for money.
We had various melts which were generous, cheesy and fresh, the platter for two was huge and beautifully presented.
Gluten free options are good and certainly more varied than other places.
Great for families, including doggos and quick, friendly and courteous service are a refreshing change.
There is also a small deli shop section that sells a range of quality produce to take home.
All in all a great place for lunch.Dog friendly, friendly staff (dog got fussed and a free sausage) Had breakfast. Wasn’t amazing but also wasn’t bad. Little pricey for what we got but I’d recommend a visit to any tourists in the area.
Interesting little place, lovely food and good service in the heart of Malton. Would recommend.

I came for breakfast at this charming little spot and was blown away by the service. My waitress Maya was incredibly helpful and friendly, giving me recommendations and making the atmosphere incredibly relaxed. The food was also banging, very flavourful and filling. Maya really sold it though. 10/10
